The Cessna 407， civilized version of the Cessna Tweet, as a Stahlhart model

Cessna 407

model design started 12/2017

Category: general aviation
Maiden Flight: 1959

The Cessna 407 was created as a business jet based on the Cessna T-37 trainer. It was designed in a way that as many parts of the T-37 could be re-used, to simplify development and production and ensure reliability. It featured a four-seated cabin and a stretched fuselage. Although the concept worked well enough, it did not enter production.
